In July 2011 I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Computing Science and a minor in Interactive Arts & Technology. I’ve loved design since I was young; I first started dabbling in HTML when I was about 10-years-old and I never looked back. My favourite part of the process is hand-coding a site piece by piece, and being able to watch as the design slowly comes to life. My design philosophy is to find the perfect balance between form and function.
Some random things about me: I turned 23 this year, and I was born, raised, and currently reside in beautiful Vancouver, BC. I absolutely love to eat; one of my favourite pastimes is researching restaurants and figuring out where I want to eat next. When I’m not eating, you can probably find me placing blocks in Minecraft, listening to NPR’s Radiolab podcast, or maybe reading articles on Smashing Magazine. Oh, and I also enjoy doodling things. Especially squids (as you may have noticed).
I am currently seeking full-time employment in the field of web design and/or development. I feel I would be best suited for a junior to intermediate position. If you think you may be interested in working with me, please get in touch! I’d be happy to hear from you!
However, please note that I will not be available to start until late October as I will be in Europe from September 15 until October 16, 2011.
